These Terms of Purchase set out how you (the User) can make purchase for a Workshop. Please read them carefully. We pride ourselves in providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that you are clear in respect of all of your rights relating to your purchase.

We are not a law firm. We are a business based in Northern Ireland who specialise in supporting NI based small businesses. Our Terms of Purchase are governed by Northern Ireland legislation.

It is important that you are aware that:

1. You are purchasing a ticket to attend a live online workshop. As part of the workshop you will be purchasing a template document this does not create a solicitor client relationship and the template is not to be construed as legal advice.
2. A completed purchase of a ticket creates legally binding obligations for both parties irrespective of attendance on the day.
3. On purchase you will be provided with instant access to the online Workshop Lounge containing, pre-course materials as well as bonus templates.  At the point of purchase, you are confirming your express consent to receiving the access to the advance Workshop Lounge and bonus templates immediately. In agreeing to be granted access at the point of purchase you will lose your right to cancel and your right to a refund.
4. No refund of fees or credit note allowed for absence due to illness or for withdrawal from the workshop for any reason.
5. Our templates are drafted in accordance with Northern Ireland law. We make no guarantees that the templates will be suitable or correct for any other jurisdictions.

Please note that the content for each workshop published here is meant as a guide only and is subject to change. We reserve the right to amend a programme or cancel an event at any time for whatever reason.

Purchase Terms for HR Workshops

We are proud of our HR workshop and template solutions and the way that they enable entrepreneurs to protect their businesses in a simple and cost effective manner. You can find the details and contents relating to each specific workshop and/or template on the sales page at the point of purchase.

On purchase you will be provided with instant access to the online Workshop Lounge containing, pre-course materials as well as bonus templates.  At the point of purchase, you are confirming your express consent to receiving the access to the advance Workshop Lounge and bonus templates immediately.  If required further templates are issued on the day of the workshop. HR templates are issued as a google drive link which can be converted to Microsoft Word documents along with a PDF document providing supporting information. You can download and save the documents to your device. In agreeing to be granted access at the point of purchase you will lose your right to cancel and your right to a refund, so do please check that you are purchasing the correct product or service to meet your needs.

Should you contact us via social media or email before you make a purchase we will do our best to support you with the workshop which may best suit your needs. We make no guarantee that the workshop we recommend is suitable for you or your business and we are unable to provide you with legal advice.

Please be advised that we reserve all rights to our intellectual property for both our customised and non-customised products and services. This means that whilst you are free to use the download digitally or print out a copy for personal use you are not permitted to copy, distribute, adapt, edit or share any of our products with third parties.

Should you consider that you have grounds to obtain a refund which are not set out in this page you should email hello@johannascullion.com to set out your refund request.

All refunds are provided in accordance with your statutory rights.

Using our Workshops & HR Templates

The HR documents are templates which you can review and amend to include your own business details.  

Before publishing the templates, you will need to edit them for your business.

The templates have highlighted text where you need to enter the details relevant to your company information. By the time your template is ready to upload to your site there should be no highlighted text remaining.

You should also read the supporting materials for each template not only will these help you to consider how to best protect your business but they also highlight some of the key elements and specific wording which reflect statutory requirements. These sections are mandatory and should not be changed.

On the sales pages for our templates we provide estimated timescales by when you may have amended your documents. These are guidance only and we provide no guarantee that you will be able to personalise your documents within a set time period.

If you have any doubts about editing or using our templates you should seek professional advice.

Our courses are designed to provide HR information. They are not to be construed as legal advice. At all times the information within our courses should be considered generic only and should you need personalised advice or support you should speak with a lawyer in your jurisdiction.

Refunds Policy For Workshop Tickets

Once you make the purchase for a Workshop Ticket you enter into a contract with Johanna Scullion t/a HR Made Easy.

A completed purchase of a ticket creates legally binding obligations for both parties irrespective of attendance on the day.  If you make a purchase then you will then be given direct access to training materials and download templates so there are no refunds.

On purchase you will be provided with instant access to the online Workshop Lounge containing, pre-course materials as well as bonus templates.  At the point of purchase, you are confirming your express consent to receiving the access to the advance Workshop Lounge and bonus templates immediately. In agreeing to be granted access at the point of purchase you will lose your right to cancel and your right to a refund.

Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and any claim or dispute arising in relation to any purchase will be governed by Northern Ireland law. You and we agree that the courts of Northern Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such claim or dispute.
